FAQ'S
Everything else you need to know.
There are three key areas of post-exercise recovery: glycogen restoration, muscle repair and rehydration.
Reload Recovery Mix helps restore depleted glycogen levels after training by providing 32g of fast absorbing carbohydrates. Rapid refuelling supports recovery from intense exercise and prepares your muscles with the fuel they need for your next session.
Each shake contains 18g of high quality whey protein which once ingested, plays a key role in repairing and rebuilding muscle fibres damaged during exercise. By stimulating muscle protein synthesis and reducing muscle breakdown, sufficient protein intake will contribute to a faster recovery between workouts.
Effective recovery also depends on proper hydration. Reload Recovery Mix includes essential electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium to replace minerals lost through sweat. Benefits of replacement include the maintenance of fluid balance and support of normal muscle function alongside energy metabolism, ensuring your body can recover efficiently and adapt to ongoing training.
